Ariginals Finalle!

Wrote them for some time and gave up coz I was losing the quality. Here are all the Annkur-Originals …

  • Human brain is an unique bastard. It silences its conscience for all the sins, but holds the other person accountable for what they did, planned to do, what they could do and even what they never did
  • I striked out the the word impossible from my dictionary. Subsequently the words easy and shortcut were also lost…
  • Friendship is not built with a deck of cards with lie written all over it
  • Be more concerned with your conscience than your character, Coz character is built only after you answer your conscience. What matters is what you think of yourself 🙂

And the older ones that I have published before:

  • Life is a ‘tug of war’ between truth and facts. Your Fact is your truth and my fact is my truth. Now when facts differ, truth differs and that’s where the mother of all problems arises!! But what prevails is the actual Truth and Fact (that everyone sees in a different light )…
  • Human brain is the most outstanding thing, actually its the most dreadful criminal in itself. It makes you do things based on your perceptions and acts on the reflexes of past, yet it helps you convince yourself that you are fresh every morning, sacred and free from all that has happened in the past !!
  • Entrepreneurs are the riders of Storm who venture out into troubled waters to bring glory to their land!

The Debate: Blog Came Pune 2 Video

Here is a small video from my talk at BCP2 in June earlier this year. This one is really special. It was the first time I took a session at any unconference / seminar and what better audience than my fellow bloggers to interact with. Though I was really nervous it was a proud moment for me. Thank you all for the support.

James Cameron takes the phrase “willing suspension of disbelief” to a whole new level with his latest ‘Avatar’

A guest post by Urmimala Rajkhowa (@urmiraj14)

Love it or hate it, after watching a James Cameron movie, there is always an extreme reaction. In this case, ‘Avatar’ got me really enthusiastic about it, and this was only after watching a short preview in a special screening yesterday in Mumbai, India. You can imagine my reaction after I watch the complete movie!

It took more than 12 years for James Cameron to bring this visual buffet to the movie screen for the benefit of us mere mortals. Granted, you might have heard of  the plot before, but what makes this movie more enjoyable is everything else surrounding the story. And of course, the 3D effects made the live-action scenes just flat-out fun to watch. I don’t know – and don’t pretend to know – the technology that goes behind 3D movie-making, but watching the scenes in 3D definitely made a lot of difference. Some of the differences were more subtle, while others were of the 3D kind but at a higher-than-expected standard.

Some of the scenes definitely felt like I was watching a slickly-designed game being played out. (Yes, I may be considered a noob since I wasn’t aware that Mr. JC recently previewed the 3D Avatar video game.) Throughout the screening, and at the end of the movie, Read More

Perception

I feel more comfortable talking to strangers than people I know. I believe this is because chances are, I’ll never see them ever again. And I feel like I can say anything I want. They don’t know my past or what I’ve done. They can only judge me on who they are seeing right that second. I’m the person I am now, not then. People I know don’t see the difference.

Life without a Bike

avvy sketch

Having sold my Avenger a little over a month back, I am getting used to a new lifestyle depending on public transport. After 4 years of non stop biking adventure, here is a new turn to life; Life without a Bike 🙂

A motorcycle is an amazing companion and as I always realized it adds a lot of flexibility and efficiency to ones movement in a crowded city like Mumbai. Though it has its own share of risk, troubles in rains etc etc … its still the coolest thing I ever owned: A bike

So what does this Life Without a Bike bring?

HeadStart Tweoples’ Road Trip

MBA216

Evangelizing twitter on juhu beach

Now since @iMBA is such a lazy busy ass, I would have to make this blog entry. One of my most memorable outings was this little Road Trip along with Mitesh, Amit and Rahul. The original trip starts from Belapur when Mitesh (@iMba) and Rahul take Amit (@abeoye) for Mumbai darshan. The first halt being Andheri where I connect with them and we head towards Juhu.

It was just a casual walk back to office after lunchtime when I decide to join these guys and I never knew that I would return home only 36hours later after loads of fun, action, drama, adventure, tweetup … you name it – we did it! 😉
